The Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show is the largest trade show of its kind in the world, bringing together 60,000 professionals and enthusiasts from the shooting, hunting, and outdoor industries. As an avid firearms enthusiast, attending SHOT Show 2024 was an unparalleled experience that exceeded all expectations. SHOT is strictly a wholesale industry-only show. It is closed to the public and has an extensive application vetting process.
Held at the expansive Sands Expo Center and Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada, SHOT utilizes the 2.8 million square feet of convention center space to overwhelm your senses. SHOT Show 2024 showcased the latest innovations, products, and technologies in the firearms and outdoor industries. Spanning over four days, the event was a vibrant hub of activity, featuring exhibitors ranging from renowned firearms manufacturers to emerging outdoor gear startups.
One of the most exciting aspects of attending SHOT Show was the opportunity to explore the vast array of products on display. From cutting-edge firearms and ammunition to state-of-the-art optics and hunting gear, there was something for every enthusiast to discover. Walking through the aisles (over 14 miles worth), we were able to get hands-on experience with the latest rifles, pistols, shotguns, and accessories, gaining valuable insights into their performance and features.
Moreover, SHOT Show 2024 provided a unique platform for networking, forging connections and meeting old friends within the industry. This being our 17th SHOT show, catching up with our friends is the highlight of the show. We had the opportunity to meet with representatives from leading firearms companies and firearms media to discuss upcoming product releases and learn about industry trends and developments.
In addition to the bustling 2.8 million square foot exhibition floor, SHOT Show 2024 offered a diverse lineup of seminars, workshops, and demonstrations. These educational sessions, Shot Show University covered a wide range of topics, including FFL compliance, Social Media, the Latest Manufacturing Technology etc. Attending these sessions provided us with valuable knowledge and practical insights we are already using.
Most importantly, SHOT Show offers a platform for advocacy and awareness within the firearms and the outdoor community. With discussions on topics such as Second Amendment rights, conservation efforts, and responsible outdoor recreation, the event highlighted the importance of preserving our heritage and promoting safe and responsible firearm ownership.
