In 1943 the Germans had fallen back from Tunisia across the straits to Sicily. At that time the German forces stationed there were very weak. The 1st Parachute Division was quickly deployed as reinforcements. Once Sicily fell the Troops survivors fell back to the Italian mainland and spent the war fighting up the boot of Italy. This helmet is representative of the 1st Parachute Division Troops.

Bitchin’, absolutely bitchin’! I just got my Sicilian Campaign FJ helmet, and what a nice display item it is. A very nice hand applied 3 color Italian camo pattern not usually seen. It has a mildly aged liner and has a battle used " veteran" look. I’m impressed not only for the outcome and price, but for the superior service and shipping!
