U.S. WW2 M1916 Colt 1911 .45 Holster with built in Ka-Bar sheath in premium drum dyed leather

Marked “JT&L® 1943”

This holster was a Experimental Idea during WW2 designed by Major M.C. Pratt of the Chicago Quartermaster Corps. Procurement Division.

But never adopted.
